Is Mission Possible Montessori a private school?We are not a traditional private school. Our Preschool Campus operates as a licensed early education program, while our microschool serves homeschool-elected families who want structured learning in a small, intentional environment with experienced educators facilitating their children’s education.

What is Mission Possible Montessori?Mission Possible Montessori is a privately owned, Montessori-based learning community dedicated to providing a high-quality, holistic education. We have two campuses: Preschool Campus: Serving children from 9 months to 5 years with an authentic Montessori early childhood education. Microcchool Campus: Designed for 1st through 6th grade homeschool-elected students, offering a structured yet flexible environment where academic rigor, life skills, and traditional values are prioritized.

What ages do you serve in your preschool program?We serve children ages 9 months to 5 years old, divided into three Montessori classrooms: Bright Beginnings (9 months - 18 months) Toddler (19 months - 3 years) Primary (3 - 5 years)

What is the daily schedule like?A typical day includes: ✔️ Uninterrupted Montessori work cycle (hands-on learning) ✔️ Outdoor play and exploration ✔️ Practical life activities (care for self, care for environment) ✔️ Lunch and rest periods (as needed for younger children) ✔️ Art, music, and cultural lessons

What curriculum do you use?Our preschool follows an authentic Montessori curriculum, focusing on practical life skills, language development, sensory exploration, math foundations, and social-emotional growth.

How do you handle transitions between classrooms?Transitions are based on age, readiness, and developmental milestones rather than a strict birthday cut-off. We assess each child's emotional, social, and academic readiness before moving them to the next classroom.

Do you provide meals?Parents provide their child’s lunch and are welcome to send additional snacks. Mission Possible provides breakfast and snack items that children may enjoy during the designated breakfast and snack times. We encourage healthy options , and we are a peanut-free facility to ensure the safety of all students.

Is potty training required for enrollment?Children do not need to be potty trained for our Toddler classroom but must be fully potty trained to transition to Primary (3-5 years old) due to licensing requirements.

What is a microschool?A microschool is a small, structured, and intentional learning environment that blends elements of homeschooling with the benefits of a classroom community. Our program supports homeschool-elected families by providing experienced educators, a structured curriculum, and a rich learning environment while maintaining the flexibility and personalization of homeschooling.

How do parents stay informed?✔️ Weekly classroom updates and progress notes. ✔️ Regular communication with educators via Brightwheel and at pick up/drop off. ✔️ Parent collaboration opportunities to support learning at home.

Do students have homework?While we encourage independent study, our focus is on deep learning during the school day. However, families are expected to support the learning process at home through reading, discussions, and reinforcing classroom concepts.

How do you ensure academic progress?We assess each child’s learning journey through structured lessons, individualized support, and real-world applications. Additionally, we conduct independent academic assessments twice a year—once in the fall as a baseline and again in the spring to measure progress. These assessments are followed by parent-teacher conferences to review strengths, areas for growth, and ensure that each child is progressing appropriately.
